Terms and Conditions

FastShip provides international shipping service through various shipping agents for instance, UPS, Aramex, FedEx, etc. If you agreed to use the service of the aforementioned agents as your “shipping company”, you are required to provide a consent, as a sender or a representative of the sender, to abide by the terms and conditions below as FastShip or the selected shipping agent agreed to provide the service unless there’s any other written agreement with a representative from FastShip

 

Shipping refers to all shipments shipped with a shipping invoice issued by FastShip. You are free to select your preferred shipping method whether it’s by air, road, or any other shipping vehicle. FasShipoperates as a shipping agent in-between the sender and any logistics company which is later known as the “shipping company” specified by the sender or as seen appropriate by FastShip.Product shipment of any kind is operated under initial responsibility as specified here and with limited compensation by case. If the sender requires additional shipping insurance, please kindly make a
request and additional payment for the insurance. (Please read additional information below)

  1. Custom clearance for imported and exported goods

FastShip has assigned the shipping company to operate with below detail, in order to provide the service in the name of the sender. (1) Fill in the required documents, make changes to the product or service number, and make payment on the duty under the specified law. (2) Act as a representative for the sender to process custom clearances and take full control over shipping as well as the receiver for cases that an annotation of a brokerage is required for custom clearances. (3) Provide linkage to the brokerage for importing the products for the receiver or to any other addresses as seen appropriate by the shipping company.

  1. Shipping of prohibited items

The sender has to declare that the items shipped are not on the list of prohibited items and the service would be terminated if it is discovered under any cases below:

– The item(s) shipped is categorized as hazardous item or item prohibited by the International Air Transport Association (IATAS), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road(ADR),or by any other government departments or other related organizations.

– Fail to declare the detail required by the custom authorities under the specified law and regulations.

– The shipment includes counterfeit products, animals, gold bar, money, stamp duty, legal agreement, metal or valuable gemstone, both real and fake gun, weapon parts of any kind, explosive substances, bullet, human parts, obscene objects, or any addictive substances/illegal drugs.

-The shipment includes any other item determined by Fastshipas unsafe or illegal for shipping.

– The packaging is damaged or not up to the standard.

  1. Delivering the shipment to the destination and items prohibited for shipping

It’s impossible for the shipment to be shipped to specific mailbox or postal code, the shipment will only be delivered in accordance to the receiver’s address specified by the sender. (For shipment shipped via postal service, the first postal that the shipment arrives could be specified as the receiver address without having to specify the receiver’s personal information)or for cases without inspection from the custom or unclear specification of the receiver’s name and address, the receiver deny to accept or make the required payment for the shipment, FastShip or the shipping company would provide an appropriate attempt in returning the shipment to the sender in accordance to the fee paid
by the sender. But if not, the shipping company may dispose, distribute, or market the product without having to make any compensation to the sender or other. The sender would still be reliable for the service and other related fees where additional profit from selling the product will be transferred back to the sender accordingly.

  1. Inspection

FastShip and the shipping company deserves all the right to inspect the items under shipment without providing prior notice for safety, custom, and various other purposes.

  1. Shipping fee

The shipping fee is calculated from the actual weight or volumetric weight, either of which that’s higher, where FastShip will weigh or measure all shipments at all times. The sender is expected to make a payment or repayment to FastShip for the shipping, storing, and tax & duty expenses due to any service or action done by FastShip as a representative of the sender, receiver, or other related third parties. This includes the claim, damage, and fine collected as the shipment is found that it does not meet the requirements specified within number 2. And for case with shipment that exceeds 120 cm on any sides, an oversize charge of an additional of THB 2,000 may be collect.

  1. Fault deemedreliable by FastShip

FastShip is reliable for cases limited to direct loss or damage only. Any other loss or damage apart from this is ineffective, for instances, the losses of profit, revenue, interest, or potential business opportunity. Whether it’s a damage and loss occurred indirectly or under special conditions or those damage and loss is realized by FastShip prior or after the agreement on providing the service. The
fault from the shipping service deemed reliable by FastShip without effects from number 7-11 will be made in accordance to the actual value of the product specified but no more than THB 3,000, applies to express air freight only.

The compensation would be limited to one amount for one shipment under a complete agreement which is the latest agreement on the damage and loss. If the sender consider this insufficient, he/she could provide further clarifications on the value of the product and request for additional insurance as specified in number 8 (Shipping insurance) or prepare a shipping insurance on your own, or else the sender would be at their own riskof all the damages and losses.

FastShip would make an appropriate attempt to liaise with the shipping company to deliver the shipment in accordance to the committed schedule provided by the shipping company but this schedule is not bounded as part of the agreement, hence FastShip is not bounded to be responsible for the loss or damage caused by the delay.

  1. Period for filing a claim on loss or damage

The filling of claim on loss or damage of any kind has to be made in a written form and has to be submitted to FastShip within15 days after the date FastShip agreed to make a delivery, if not FastShip will not be responsible under any circumstances.

  1. Shipping insurance

For cases of lost shipment before arriving at FastShip

  •  FastShip will provide a compensation for loss up to THB 3,000, but this does not include indirect damages or losses from delay.

For cases of lost shipment the during delivery

FastShip can provide a shipping insurance to the sender who wish to buy an insurance from the shipping company. This insurance will cover the actual value of the shipment in case of loss or damage. The sender is required to provide full detail on the insurance on the top of the shipment label as well as the payment for the insurance premium. The shipping insurance does not cover loss or damage occurred indirectly or loss or damage from the delay.

  1. Delay shipment or refund

FastShip will provide any appropriate attempt to make a delivery within the regular committed schedule by FastShip, however, this schedule is not bounded as part of the agreement, hence FastShip is not bounded to be responsible for the loss or damage caused by the delay

  1. For situation beyond FastShip’s control

Fastship would not be responsible for loss or damage from any situation beyond FastShip’s control. For products at high risk of being broken, for instance, glasses, ceramic, wood, etc. as well as damage from electrical or magnetic short circuits or the deletion of digital images, photos, information, record, a defect, or other natural characteristics of the items shipped, despite the knowledge of FastShip including action or failure of action by another person not supervised or made an agreement with FastShip, for instances, the sender, receiver, third parties, custom department, or various other government departments and other situation beyond control, for instances an earthquake, cyclone, storm, flood, fog, war, plane crash, endemic, prohibition of shipping out of the destined port, protest or riot, and any actions by the industrial sector.

  1. Protection under an international convention

For cases of air freight that arrives at the destination country or stops at any country other than the destination country, it’s bounded to the terms and conditions under the Montreal or Warsaw Convention. International shipments by road are bounded by the CMR convention. These agreements and conventions will limit the responsibility for the loss and damage that occurred.

  1. Insurance and protection from the shipping company

The shipping company is liable for providing the protection and prevention of all harm to FastShip in case of loss and damage occurred by the failure to comply with the law and regulation by the shipping company as well as the infringement of the insurance and the followings action:

  • All information specified by the sender or the sender’s representative has to be complete and accurate – The delivery is prepared under a secured venue by the sender’s employee
  • The sender relies on a trustable employee in the preparation of shipping
  • The sender protects the shipment from non-permitted intervention during the preparation of the shipment, storage, and transportation to FastShip
  • The sender provides an accurate address for the destination and appropriately packs the shipment to ensure safe delivery under normal care and management.
  1. Route Management

The sender accepts the delivery route and any changes made to the route as well as the possibility of an intermission during the transportation.

  1. Return of Shipment

For a shipment incapable of being shipped, no matter reason, the sender has to collect the return within 14 days after FastShip agreed to accept the delivery. FastShip is no longer responsible for any losses or damages of overdue collection.

  1. Law Enforcement

To protect the benefits of FastShip, any disputes that occurred under or in related to the term and agreement are operated out of court and are regulated by the law enforced within the country of origin and the sender has to abide by the judgment unless it’s found that it’s against the law enforced.

  1. Null and Void

The invalidity of any rules or regulations would not affect another part of the term and agreement Shipping fee calculation method.

  1. Pick up service

We offer a parcel pickup and drop-off service at Thailand Post offices or our branches according to the following conditions.

      • Pick up Service
        1. Same-day pickup by FastShip: 200 baht per pickup
          • Free pickup for orders over 2,000 baht (Bangkok and metropolitan areas only)
        2. Next-day pickup by Flash Express or Kerry with charges based on size and weight
      • Drop-off Service
        1. Drop-off at Thailand Post offices nationwide (over 1,432 branches): Charges based on size and weight
        2. Drop-off at FastShip branches (Bangkok and metropolitan areas only) : Free
      • Other provinces
    1. In case you decide to cancel the order or your parcel cannot be delivered but you want to return it back, you will receive a partial refund.
    2. FastShip reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice. In case of a dispute, the company’s decision is deemed final.
